I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California and Colorado offering psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and families. I specialize in collaborative strength-based work, including individual and family counseling, and parent consultations. Drawing on years of work with young children across the globe, I strive to join with each child (and family) to help them find their voice and reach their full potential. Through the use of narrative therapy and a systems-based approach, I work to understand each individual and family, supporting them as they work through difficulties.

As a parent of three young children, I have an in-depth understanding of the rollercoaster of emotions that can come with raising a child. We’ve all seen the movies, with the family who sits down to dinner laughing and smiling in some well-curated montage. While real life certainly provides us with many of those moments, it also comes with trials and tribulations, despite our best efforts as parents. My goal in working with families is to help enrich and deepen family connections while also encouraging individuals to find their place in the world.

In addition to parenting and family support, I also specialize in working with children and teens individually. Throughout my clinical work, I have found myself fascinated by the honesty and bravery with which children approach their problems. Joining alongside them as they address their worries, combat their challenges, and assert their independence has been a privilege and a joy throughout my career. As a Bay Area native, I also have a unique understanding of the community and culture within which many of my clients live.

My past experience includes working at Summit Center in Walnut Creek, in community mental health at Alameda Family Services, and working in various Bay Area schools and preschools as both a teacher and counselor. I am passionate about twice-exceptionality, ADHD, learning differences, parenting, anxiety, and self-esteem.
